I was treated to an amazing three-course lunch today at Heckfield Place. It's an incredible venue, set to become even more so. My jaw dropped as I walked out onto the terrace. I suggested to David, the visionary operational manager, that we set a table out there in the sunshine overlooking the lake. Superb. Especially the chocolate Snickers cheesecake. Mmm.

Richard Connolly suffered a brain injury six years ago when car thieves ran him over in his own car. Tragic story. He's a lovely guy. I photographed him today to promote Brain Injury Awareness Week.
