Glyn Williams is the chaplain of RAF Odiham. He's a top guy. I met him today ahead of his second London Marathon. I suggested the photograph should contain a) his running kit, b) his dog collar and c) a Chinook helicopter. He enthusiastically went along with it.

The Bramley Frith electrical substation today took delivery of a 150 tonne transformer. I got caught behind the slow-moving convoy on the M3 but a cheeky undertaking manouvre via Winchester Services got me there in good time to watch its arrival. The three-metre-wide, 76-metre-long vehicle was expertly driven along the narrow lanes while the villagers all turned out to watch. More.
