More fun and games at the Rose Bowl last night. One man collapsed with chest pains, vomited on the dance floor and was taken away in ambulance. One woman cocked her leg and urinated in the corridor. Lovely.

Every Sunday 76-year-old Clarrie Moore travels from his home in Devon to Southampton to play the bass guitar for the Ed Nix & Busted band before playing in snooker tournaments at his club in Chandler's Ford.

The Liberal Democrat leadership contest came to Winchester on Sunday. Martin Tod (middle), prospective parliamentary candidate for the city, chaired the debate between Chris Huhne (left), MP for neighbouring Eastleigh, and Nick Clegg who looks and sounds like David Cameron.

Portsmouth and former England goalkeeper David James was in town last night for the BBC South Sports Awards. He picked up the Footballer of the Year Award. Much taller than I'd realised.
