I went out to photograph Chuggers a while back. I tried to capture that split-second connection when the Chugger first makes eye contact, and you do all you can to avoid them. Surprisingly good fun. And only once did anyone get remotely aggressive towards me!

Local politics is a funny old game. Local election politics is even worse. On Friday of last week I was in a soulless sports hall to find out the new composition of the New Forest District Council. No great surprise that the council remains in the hands of the Conservative Party.
